Sarah also has extensive executive experience in strategic philanthropy creating positive change externally as well as bringing positive change and growth internally from her time developing and growing this strategic approach for a leading Premier League Football Club.
Grew Clark’s International business via the opening of new offices in China and Eastern Europe, by turning around a loss making £20m German subsidiary and by partnering with shoe retailers to open Clarks monobrand shops in Europe and Asia to deliver turnover growth of 12% to £122m and profit growth of 116% to £17.5m within 3 years.
Turned around, ran and lead the disposal of the Scholl Retail business following the Seton Scholl merger.
Developed and grew the Marketing division of SSL Italia in Bologna including the Scholl and Durex brands for 9 months following the merger of Seton Scholl and London International.
Lead for Nike on the strategic plan for and integration of the Umbro International business including China and French JV’s with turnovers of £100m and £30m respectively and 27 licensees following the acquisition of Umbro by Nike.
Restructured the existing City in the Community trust at Manchester City FC in to a foundation with a trading arm to enable trading and private sector funding to be added to existing public sector funding, and launched the first International CSR base in New York via the acquisition of a community delivery team from a local New York Junior Football Club, which became the forerunner for Manchester City FC’s current New York subsidiary.
